The Assembly Committee on Children and Families is considering legislation (AB 453), which would repeal the state’s civil statute of limitations for bringing an action for an injury resulting from being sexually assaulted or subject to incest.  WCJC testified in opposition to the bill at a public hearing on Wednesday, Oct. 21, specifically to voice concern over constitutional/legal issues involved with the provision that revives statute of limitations that have previously expired.
